United States Army Major (Ret.) William J. Ostan is a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan where he was awarded two bronze star medals. He served for more than 12 years on active duty as a JAG attorney to include combat deployments with the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), and Navy SEAL Team 5. Will was medically retired on September 11th, 2019, due to a service-connected illness acquired during his deployment to Afghanistan. He is grateful for the caring treatment provided by medical professionals in the U.S. Special Operations Warrior Care Program.

On Veterans Day 2019, Will launched Arc of Justice | Advocates for Wounded Warriors on Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream. Arc of Justice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reforming the military’s medical separation process by representing active-duty Servicemembers from all branches pro bonoand establishing due process protections via a Wounded Warrior Bill of Rights.

Will is a graduate of the Honors College at Azusa Pacific University and holds multiple earned postgraduate degrees including a Master of Public Policy in International Relations and Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University.

The greatest joy of Will’s life is to spend time with his family! He has been married to Jennifer, who is an Elizabeth Dole Foundation Caregiver Fellow, since 2001 and is the proud father of twin daughters. When Will is having a good run of health, and not battling a flare-up, his hobbies include reading books, seeking adventure in his Jeep Wrangler, searching for good surf spots, and rucking in the wild.
